4th High/Scope Film Festival of 2009

On Saturday, 21st November 2009, 9 movie made by middle school students were viewed by juries and no less than 400 audiences in the Black Box Theater at Sekolah High/Scope Indonesia TB Simatupang, Jakarta Selatan.
The 10 short movies were titled: Ain't No Bully (Al Izhar), Run! (SMPN 68), Flying Fox (SMP Global Mandiri), Kamila (SMP High/Scope Indonesia), MOS ( SMP Pembangunan Jaya), Ingkar (SMP Islam Dian Didaktika), Nak Se Elang (Islamic International Secondary School), Oh! (Lab School Kebayoran) Racing in My Soul (Home Schooling Kak Seto)
Their movies were viewed and judged by the judges of, movie director Oddy C Harahap (Kawin Kontrak), script writer Raditya Dika (Kambing Jantan), actor Dimas Seto (Selamanya), Arie Dagienkz (Garasi), Andika Pratama (Punk In Love), actress Nadila Ernesta (Cintaku Selamanya), and Kinaryosih (Mendadak Dangdut).
The category contested were: direction, actor, actress, actor and actress in a supporting role, editing, scenario, synopsis, poster, camera operator, soundtrack and also best movie. Besides giving their judgments, the juries also gave their comments, critics and appreciation to all the movies that were screened.
Before the contestants produce the movies, they have already went a workshop session from producer and director Nia Dinata (Pertaruhan, Arisan), Raditya Dika, and movie and theater teacher from High/Scope high school, Ekky Imanjaya and Nossa Normanda. They also have received guidance from their mentors, the students of Institut Kesenian Jakarta (IKJ).
