Community Service is a program in which the students in groups or individually do social service. The principle of the program is to make differences and improvements in society. It aims to develop the students’ concern toward social problems and at the same time to enhance their skills of project based learning-- planning, managing and evaluating projects especially in social development.

Students should accomplish a minimum of 70 hours, done during the holidays (Saturday, Sunday, or term breaks). The 70 hour project includes activities of preparation, initial survey and observation, fieldwork, making field-notes, and making reports and presentations of the results. They are given opportunities to choose one of the social groups to be served as well as the forms and themes of service to be developed. They should plan and design the community service proposal to be presented to the principal and management team prior to the implementation.
